My friend, an artist Nimwen, has prepared for us a version of the Tolkiens' coat-of-arms according to J. R. R. Tolkien's drawing depicted in my last post ("The Tolkiens' heraldry: tradition and reality"). I am still very much interested in your opinions, ideas, theories concernign these arms:
I prefer the first version. However, I don't understand why the mullets are doubled from the description in the letter.
