The Tolkien Homeland

The Pasmar valley. The homeland of the Tolkien family. I meet the Tolkiens in this vale from the fifteenth century (meet Jacob Tolkin) to the tragedy of the Second World War. In 1945 the Tolkien history of East Prussia finished...

This is how this "Tolkien" region looked on the map from the eighteenth century. See Sollau which were in possession of the Tolk/Tolkien family in the fifteenth century (and I meet last Tolkiens there in the seventeenth century ie. Johim Tolkien from Kilgis, Michael Tolkien from Sollau and his son Christian), see Globuhnen where the confirmed ancestors of J.R.R. Tolkien lived and see Kreuzburg where they made their businesses and from where they migrated to Königsberg, Lübeck, Danzig (Gdańsk) and other parts of the Baltic area):

This is Globuhnen on the map from 1922. See the houses of this small village:

And now in the Kaliningrad Oblast of the Russian Federation no building exists in Globuhnen...

This world has perished... This is Globuhnen in the 1940s.

Now only trees under the wide sky which in the Baltic countries seems to be bigger and bluer
