I have many concerns about this show and there are certainly things that I, a Tolkien purist, will not like. But they have the best language specialists. Today we got this message in Sindarin.

Oh how I like the new posters and photos from the series "Rings of Power" (Amazon Prime - see here)! Here is my brief analysis of the linguistic content.

Postanowiłem od dziś ignorować serial. To jest profanacja. Tyle mogę powiedzieć.
UsuńW niedzielę podobno ma być pierwszy trailer ;P - wtedy (prawie) ostatecznie będzie wiadomo co to był/jest za kot w worku.
UsuńAle rzeczywiście, już wielki smutek.
Patrzyłem na to trochę pogodzony, że na poważniejszą (porządniejszą) wersję nie było co liczyć, już trylogia P.J. była w swej "szałowości", powiedzmy: taka bąbelkowa, jednak te zdjęcia plastikiem i kichą ciągną na kilometry. Nie ma też co się łudzić na to że fabuła będzie fascynująca. Po prostu żal tego, że to co u Tolkiena jest wartościowe i piękne, tutaj porobi za żer na którym popastwią się scenarzyści itd. Ot, kolejny świat (cudzy, już wiele takich filmów i seriali powstało) który "arcy-oryginalni twórcy" zaorają bez choćby małej, rzetelnej próby oddania szczerego ducha.
A nawet nie wspomniałem o poprawności politycznej :).

Niemniej, ja SPRÓBUJĘ parę odcinków RoP, do pierwszej krwi, wtedy również prawdopodobnie zacznę ignorować. Czasy (a właściwie absurdy) są takie, jakie są - i nie będzie wyjścia aby nie zerknąć w tego palantira ;). Ataki reklamami z każdej strony, zbytnia ciekawość by mnie zżarła. Czasami trzeba zapoznać się z instynktem, ażeby później z podwójną siłą być odpornym - niczym po szczepieniu, hehe.
